Facilities at Kisima School
Kisima Mixed Secondary School has been built to accommodate 160 students. The tuition block contains four form classrooms, additional classrooms for optional subjects, a computer room, a staff room and three offices. A separate block houses the library, boardroom and an office.
There are also two separate science laboratories complete with prep room, store and an office for the head of science. Above one of the laboratories is a large room where the national exams take place.
The multi-purpose hall is used mainly for meals but also for the Sunday service, other gatherings and indoor games.
The students are all boarders so there are two dormitories, each with space for eighty students and with a washroom attached. Between these is a house accommodating the matron and one teacher. There is also a teachers' block where the other teachers live.
The playing field has a running track, a football pitch and a volleyball court. There is also a netball court and a basketball court near the dormitories.
